Universal Viewfinder

These viewfinders for Mercury Universal (and 3rd party) cameras allow you to match different formats with different lenses.  Use this chart to determine which FOV# (i.e., Viewfinder #) you need.

#1 - #3 are non-lensed viewfinders, meaning that they properly frame your subject without requiring a lens.  Our #5 and 5W viewfinders incorporate lenses.  #4 FOV is obtained by adding a mask to a standard #5 lensed viewer.

Our 5W viewer is a deluxe viewer with big, high-quality optics that are much better than average viewfinders out there.  It includes a brightline frame for FOV 5, as well as a larger visible image area ("5W").

All viewfinders feature a removable mask that can be exchanged for different focal lengths, and allows for easy custom inserts for different aspect ratios, etc.
