Stereo Lens Shade

The Mercury Stereo shade system contains two components: A Shade Base and various shades.  All shades are compatible with all bases.  Choose your shade based on the focal length of your lenses.

The new V2 Lens Hood Finder system incorporates a cold shoe into each hood, positioned optimally for mounting our Videofinder or Brilliant Finder. These new viewers greatly enhance your options when using this system!

The V2 Shades are labeled by focal length of the lens they are recommended for.  You can use a shade that was designed for your focal length or a shorter focal length, but not a longer focal length.

Our legacy V1 shades were labeled by shade size rather than focal length. For these, use the table below to see the equivalent. Our V1 shades cannot mount our hood finders.  Any owner of a V1 shade who has 3D printing capability may contact us for a free V2 shade file to print.
