Service: Parlorscope V1 to V3 factory upgrade

Our Parlorscope V1 to V3 upgrade is for Parlorscopes purchased before July 2025. You will gain:

• Brightness control
• Switchable "white" and "warm" settings. Warm is midway between Daylight and Tungsten, a popular choice for viewing color slides shot indoors or at sunrise/sunset. Use the white light for outdoor slides and BW slides.
• Ability to use simple (inexpensive) slide carriers--they no longer require a diffusion plate.
• Enlarged backlight aperture for improved viewing of 52x52mm slides
• Repositioned backlight diffusion plate to eliminate fibers or dust that may get inside the viewer from being visible.
• Improved tripod mount that mounts easier to tabletop mini tripods.
• Latest fit-and-finish aesthetic updates.

Upgrade Process: You will need to ship us your unit for this factory upgrade. Contact us after placing your order here and we'll give you instructions to ship it to us.

Not sure which version you have? If you have the switch to change between White and Warm color options, you have V3--no need to upgrade! If you don't, we highly recommend this upgrade. Note: V2 units aren't listed here because all V2 units have been upgraded by customers to V3 already.

Note: This upgrade eliminates the digital phone option on V1 models with that option. Don't upgrade if you wish to continue using your Parloscope for phone viewing.
